Capitals  trounced Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 Sunday night in NHL Eastern Conference Playoffs Game 2.

The Capitals scored 1 goal in the first, 3 goals in the second, and 2 in the third period.

Tampa Bay Lightning scored their 2 power play goals in the first period.

The Capitals now lead the series 2-0. Caps host Lightning Tuesday night at Capital One Arena.
